Rotarians, we need your help packing essential items for the homeless! You will be stuffing backpacks with snacks and hygiene items for a Catholic Charities project sponsored by the San Francisco Rotary Foundation. On April 17, there are two shifts: shift 1 from 9 AM to 11 AM and shift 2 from 10 AM to 1 PM. We will be working both inside and outside. The inside space is huge and well-ventilated, and the outside area has a cushioned surface for comfort. Masks, sanitizer, hand washing facilities, snack, and of course, fellowship will be plentiful. There are two leadership positions available, but plenty of openings for those who just want to put the kits together. We will be assembling separate individual zip-lock bags of snacks and hygiene items and then stuffing them into Rotary branded backpacks. There is lots of free parking. $6 toll coming from the East Bay; no toll coming from SF and South Bay. Register now and then contact Carol Laughlin to select a shift. |

Family Feud is a long-running trivia game show on television based on real survey responses! Each question has multiple answers, but the top answers (that were selected most frequently by the survey respondents) provide the most points. We invite Rotarians, family, and guests to join us and cheer for their favorite team! It’s going to be a great show; don’t miss it! In March 2021, we gathered to organize baby wipes for the Homeless Prenatal Program, but we only got 1/3 of the job done. So, please join us for round #2! We still have 28 cases of baby wipes to separate into baggies for HPP. We do this work, because HPP does not have the resources to give out entire packages of wipes to its clients. We need 12-15 people to help with this effort! We will meet at Hoogasian Flowers, an open-air warehouse, to sort and bag the wipes at a social distance. Limit: 15 people. Masks are required. Double masks are preferred.
