Club member Lynn Luckow, offers us an insider's look into crowdfunding for U.S. based 501c3 nonprofit organizations - and how it is expanding the donor pool and democratizing philanthropy. Lynn, who is the Founder & CEO of LikeMinded.org, a crowdfunding site for nonprofit and civic leaders wanting to garner financial and volunteer support for public benefit projects, is an expert on this subject. He will introduce a crowdfunding project our club will pilot in February, 2017.
Join the fun as we prepare hundreds of dictionaries to be given to third graders in San Francisco schools. We'll be meeting at Hoogasian Flowers to put Rotary bookplates in each book and organize them into the right inventory for delivery to schools.

This hands-on workshop offers training and breakout groups at all levels, so you can take your knowledge of social media to the next level — no matter what that is. You'll leave with useful tips and a social media "tool kit". 
Rotary PRLS Basic and MasterOur district offers this series of training classes for potential Rotary leaders. Basic PRLS covers the fundamentals and is a prerequisite for all advanced PRLS training. Our club covers the cost for members to attend.
Enjoy watching the Super Bowl while sharing a pot luck dinner at the home of Lilian Tsi-Stielstra and her husband Scott Stielstra. Winners of the club Super Bowl Pool will be celebrated at the end of each quarter.
The founder and executive director of the non-profit Center for Ecosystem Management and Restoration in Oakland, Dr. Gunther will review the basic physical principles and observations that have led every scientific academy in the world to conclude that human emissions of greenhouse gasses are altering the climate. He will discuss what the expected significant climatic changes mean for the country in general and the Bay Area in particular.

Meet the honorees and their loved ones, and hear their amazing stories of heroism and dedication told by the top brass of each department.
