E-MEETING Highlights for April 20, 2021:  Casey Fritz, Better at the Bin with Recology
President JT Forbus (Accounting | Bogdan & Frasco) celebrated the completion of taxes and led us virtually to a city tour bus. 
 
 
Visiting Rotarians and Guests
In today's audience were Josh Traeger and Katja Matthews of the Brattleboro Sunrise Rotary who talked about how their entire club is virtually traveling the world to visit other Rotary clubs as part of their Chasing Sunrise initiative. See here for more information. Other guests included Randy Adams, Jamie Miller, Andrés Vera, Matthew Madsen, Anne Bello, Josh Goldberg, and Karina Alvarado Mendoza. Also present was today's speaker, Casey Fritz.

SERVICE PROJECT April 26, 2021:  Volunteering for RotaCare Northern Peninsula
Join the Rotary Club of Daly City/Colma Evening, the Rotary Club of Pacifica, and the Rotary Club of San Francisco to distribute RotaCare Northern Peninsula flyers during a drive-through food distribution hosted by Second Harvest and coordinated by the Daly City Partnership. There is also a choice to participate in the food distribution. Advanced registration is required.
 
 
CLUB SOCIAL April 29, 2021: Family Feud
Join us for a fun-filled and exciting evening of Family Feud. Battling for a cash prize of $1,000 to support a cause chosen by their team, it will be men vs. women from the Rotary Club of San Francisco on stage! Advanced registration required to be part of the audience. SERVICE PROJECT May 3, 2021: Delivering Meals for The Arc San Francisco
Drivers needed to pick up pre-packaged meals at The Arc San Francisco and deliver to individual residences of Arc participants who are experiencing food insecurity. Exact directions will be provided when you pick up the meals. Hand delivery of meals must occur between 4 PM and 5:30 PM in advance of the Monday Night Dinner Club with Friends Like Me via Zoom to be held on the first and third Monday of each month.
 
E-MEETING May 4, 2021: Rodrigo Duran and La Cultura Cura - Leveraging our cultural assets to heal our community 
Carnaval San Francisco (CSF) curates educational platforms and creates artistic spaces of revelry that heal, strengthen, and unite disenfranchised communities of color through the power of art and culture. Rodrigo Durán is CSF’s Festival Director since 2016 and will share some safe spaces he has created for the Latinx community to celebrate their cultures and languages. Advanced registration required. Christopher Pollock, Historian-in-Residence for the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department and author, shares with us the history and features of our beloved Golden Gate Park as well as the Park's recent 150th anniversary. Advanced registration required. SERVICE PROJECT May 11, 2021: Baby Wipes Assembly for Homeless Prenatal Program
Join us at this service opportunity to bag baby wipes for giveaway to clients of the Homeless Prenatal Program. We will meet at an open-air warehouse to allow social distancing while assembling the baby wipes. Participation is limited to FIFTEEN people, so sign up early. Masks are required; double masks are preferred.

Frank Schulenburg, Wikipedian and Executive Director of Wiki Education, will share how Wikipedia’s contributors ensure the free encyclopedia’s quality and how Wiki Education systematically works to make Wikipedia a platform that represents the knowledge of all people. Advanced registration required.
