In these times of shelter-in-place and social distancing, here are some resources offered by our members and friends to help you stay connected and informed.

HOW TO SLOW THE PANDEMIC:  Thank you to Past President John Mathers for sharing this newsletter from the Environmental Sustainability Rotarian Action Group on what to do to slow the pandemic. There are some good points and reminders.

CLUB MEETINGS AND EVENTS:  Take a look at www.sfrotary.com and in particular at the Club Calendar for April 2020 for all the upcoming e-Meetings and other virtual events. We have a month of interesting and engaging speakers. Be sure to register in advance so we can plan accordingly and provide you with the necessary information to join these meetings.

SOCIAL HOUR:  Leave it to our Club to find a way to hold a social hour. Dan Joraanstad and Bob Hermann are hosting a virtual social hour on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 5PM each week until further notice. For information on how to participate, please contact Dan.

COUNSELING:  Kevin Ringstaff is a grief recovery specialist. He has generously offered a virtual counseling session every Wednesday starting at 12 noon for anyone who would like to share what is on their mind or any loss they are experiencing. Please contact Kevin if interested.

CLUB SUPPORT:  We have set up a Connect and Support team to reach out to you if you want to enjoy some fellowship and have some conversation. See the contacts here.

READING: This is a good time to catch up on all those books you promised to read but never had time. Heidi Kuhn is about to release her book, Breaking Ground. For a copy or more information, please contact Heidi.

BLOG:  Or if you like to read online like I do, check out Past President Rhonda Poppen's blog to read some interesting thoughts and good writing.

If you have resources to share with us, please send them to me for future posting. Laughter and friendship can and do strengthen immunity.
