After 15 months of meeting via Zoom, our Club finally returned to in-person meetings with an option to join via Zoom. The first three in-person meetings were well attended with excellent programs, food, and fellowship. Here are some tips so that our meetings continue to run smoothly, and you continue to have a good experience.

MEETING DETAILS
Before you register for our meetings, click on the "More Info" tab that accompanies each meeting listed on our website at www.sfrotary.com. Here you will find out when the meeting starts and ends, information about the speaker and the topic, how to register, and other important information such as whom to contact with questions.

REGISTRATION FOR LUNCH
1. Register for lunch. Your registration allows the Hotel Nikko (where we meet) to plan enough seats and meals. Registration is easy on www.sfrotary.com - just find the meeting you wish to attend and register by 5 PM on the Sunday before that Tuesday's luncheon. The cost is $45 per person.

2. Late Registration: If you did not register by 5 PM on the Monday before the meeting, please communicate with the contact person for that meeting. If there is room for you to walk in on that Tuesday, the cost is $55 per person at the door. To avoid the higher cost, we strongly encourage you to register by 5 PM on the Monday before the meeting.

3. Save time. Skip the line, buy multiple lunch tickets, and keep the tickets for future use. If you still have lunch tickets from the Sir Francis Drake Hotel (where we used to meet), we still honor those tickets valued at $35 each towards the new ticket.

4. Zoom Option: If you are attending via Zoom, you must register to get the Zoom link.

MEAL CHOICES
You have a choice among a regular meal, a vegetarian meal, a vegan meal, or a gluten-free meal. Once you have registered for the event, please email President Mary Liu to let her know if you require a vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free meal so that there is a meal ordered for you. There is no need to contact President Mary if you wish to have the regular meal. At the registration desk, you can find little placards to put at your table setting to indicate your choice. If you do not place any placard, you will get the regular meal. If you forgot the placard, just tell the server your choice.

COVID-19 PROTOCOL SAFETY
For the safety of our members and guests, we are following the current guidelines of the CDC and the San Francisco Department of Public Health. This is a fluid situation. If you registered for a meeting several weeks ago, you may find that the protocol is different when you arrive. Please check the "More info" tab before your arrival to see if there is any change. In addition, please check your email for any announcements.

The protocol as of July 27, 2021 is as follows for meeting in person: "To maximize the health and safety of Rotarians, guests, speakers, staff at the Hotel Nikko (where we meet), and those who may potentially be in a high-risk category for complications due to COVID-19, the Rotary Club of San Francisco REQUIRES all members and guests, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a face covering mask during the meeting except while eating.

The Club believes that these policies are consistent with Rotary's Four-Way Test as well as with the current guidelines of the CDC and the San Francisco Department of Public Health. Thank you."

CONSIDER LENDING A HAND
What I love most about Rotary is its motto - Service Above Self. It really takes a village to put these meetings together. If you are able to help with tasks such as serving as a greeter, doing check-in, being the scribe, microphone runner, or other tasks needed at the meeting, please contact Cecile Chiquette.
