ROTARY CLUB OF SAN FRANCISCO
 
The Board of the Rotary Club of San Francisco met on February 25, 2020; a quorum was present. In addition to the Board, Club member John Mathers was in attendance. 
 
The Board reviewed the upcoming events in the Club and in the District and discussed the two events planned for March 6, 2020: (1) dinner and an evening at the San Francisco Ballet, and (2) the Gala for The Arc San Francisco.

President Casey presented what he had in mind for the Town Hall on March 17, 2020. He wanted to be able to call on several vice presidents to talk about the accomplishments of their service committee so far this Rotary year. President Casey added that lunch on March 17 would be an Irish meal and authorized Dora to purchase some table decorations.
 
Next was a brief update on World Wide Rotary Day scheduled for March 24, 2020. Then, there was an update on Emergency Services Day planned for October 6, 2020.

President Casey announced that Connor Krone would now focus only on ALPS. Michael Petricca stepped forward and agreed to work with Connor to provide regular reports to the Board and to the Club Foundation regarding ALPS.

The Board reviewed the minutes for January 14, 2020 prepared by Dora and requested that a change be made for the date of the Club Town Hall and the date of the Club Assembly.The Board approved the minutes as amended.
 
Gary presented the Treasurer’s report. He went over the balance sheet highlights, the statement of operations highlights, the amount due to the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, the amount collected from Club luncheons, and the amount collected from the Super Bowl pool. The Board approved the Treasurer's report.
 
Membership: Dan presented two candidates for membership: Joseph Cresalia and Steven Lindstrom. Joseph would be the fifth member of corporate member Roots of Peace, while Steven would join as an individual.
 
Dora announced that it was time for the vice presidents on the Board to complete the goal sheets for District 5150 and the Rotary International award. She would be emailing the goal sheet to each VP after today’s Board meeting.
 
Kathryn McCall reported on the activities of the Community Service Committee, which included the Bike Build and the delivery of socks to the San Francisco Police Department’s homeless outreach team. The Club is searching for a new Dictionary Chair. President Casey asked Kathryn to hold a Community Service Committee meeting in either March or April 2020.

President Casey announced that Paul Harris Society, Legacy, and Paul Harris Fellows would be recognized during the luncheon on March 17, 2020.

The Board discussed candidates for Rotarian of the Month.

The Board of Rotary Service, Inc. met on February 25, 2020; a quorum was present.
 
The Board reviewed and approved the minutes for January 14, 2020 prepared by Dora.
 
Gary presented the Treasurer’s report. The Board discussed the clawback clause in the ALPS contract. The Board approved the Treasurer's report.
 
John Mathers asked for funding to get https://rcatnow.com/ launched so that Rotary clubs from all over the world could begin to post their projects. The Board approved up to $1,000 to fund the completion of this website.
